Destination Cyprus understands that the villa is a substantial investment on behalf of the owner and therefore its management is of paramount importance. To ensure that we can confidently offer the necessary service to our owners, Destination Cyprus restricts the numbers of villas that it looks after to a number that we are happy we can manage to our clients satisfaction. We have seen the error of companies taking villa management on at any cost, this ends up normally to the cost and detriment of the villa owner.
All managed villas with Destination Cyprus receive priority when we receive bookings
in our own right through our own web sites, other advertised web sites and other
advertising we do on behalf of Destination Cyprus. We are open in admitting that
our managed villas and their owners take precedence over our non-
Pool Management.
This is not just pool cleaning, we actually manage the pool and outside areas including barbecue, in tandem with customer bookings to ensure that the pool and surrounding areas are always cleaned and in pristine condition for the arrival of your guests. We also include for a complete wash down of the external areas including the garden furniture, as you are aware Cyprus is an extremely dusty place and that is without the extensive building work being carried out at present.
The pool is cleaned twice a week in the summer and once a week in winter as standard, however in the main summer months for pool cleanliness it normally requires that we clean the pool probably three to four times a week.
All chemicals are provided within the price quoted for this service.
Garden Management.
This service varies from Villa to Villa depending on its needs and requirements and can range from:
Weeding
Pruning of trees and shrubs
Lawn cutting
Cleaning and Laundry
This is one area that requires the utmost professionalism and an area where we believe we surpass any of our competition. If there is one area that can ensure a repeat booking from a guest, it is to ensure that on arrival the villa is exceptionally clean and bedding and towels are fresh and presented in a professional manner.
It is the owner choice whether he wishes to supply the linen and towels or he takes advantage of our hire service for the said items, we provide prices for both services.
The cleaning service is made up of two parts, a departure clean and an arrival service. On departure the villa is thoroughly cleaned and the linen will be taken away for laundry service. The arrival service if on the same day will comprise making of beds and villa services checklist, if the villa is vacated for more than three days before the next booking then the arrival service will be carried out on the day of arrival, ensuring the villa and linen is fresh and clean.
We also offer spring cleaning before rentals begin for the summer season, these services are over and above what you would expect on a normal departure or arrival service, and would include such services as washing curtains, touching up of paintwork etc.
We also ensure that when your last guests have departed and the season has terminated
that your villa is cleaned, fridge and freezer are emptied, cleaned, switched off
and the doors are left in the open position. The beds are stripped, external areas
and furniture are washed down and when dry the external furniture is put into the
villa for safe-
Meet and Greet
As Destination Cyprus also provides villa holidays in its own right then obviously we extend the meet and greet services provided.
We are able to pickup and return guests to the airport providing a more personal greeting to them just arriving at the villa and taking a key from a key safe and returning it to the same on departure and having no contact with the management company.
We can obviously offer this facility to the owners guests also.
Our policy if not meeting the clients at the airport is to ensure that we meet them within 24 hours of arrival to ensure that they are aware of the services and features of the villa, advice on the resort and recommendations and also make them aware of the Destination Cyprus folder we leave in all villas detailing contact numbers recommended restaurants and a host of other information.
Client Guest Services
This service is offered on a required basis and can include but not limited to the following:
" Welcome Packs these can range from the basic necessities of tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc, to the special requirements of champagne on arrival for honeymooners or anniversaries.
" Car Hire if the client requires car hire either from the airport or whilst in the resort, we can offer this facility at competitive rates fro a reputable car hire company here in Cyprus.
" Trips, Tours, and Restaurants -
Maintenance and Repairs
It is important that our owners know that we are taking the best possible care of their villas, we understand it is an expensive investment on their part, to ensure that this investment is best protected Destination Cyprus undertakes property inspections on a regular basis.
If we find repairs need to be carried out and they of a minor nature then we would proceed with the repair and notify our clients accordingly, in the event of a major repair e.g. pool pump breakdown or air conditioning breakdown, we would endeavour to seek customer approval before carrying out repairs, however the owner should appreciate that when they have guests then time is of the essence to expedite the repair to ensure customer satisfaction.
Destination Cyprus has built up a portfolio of British Companies offering a range of excellent repair services at competitive rates and as matter of urgency.
Destination Cyprus does not mark these prices up and the cost is directly invoiced from the company used.
Property Inspections.
These inspections are carried out before and after departure of guests, this ensures that we are happy that the villa is cleaned and ready for guests to our satisfaction, we also inspect after departure to ensure no serious damage has occurred, although we hope that guests will treat the villa in the way we would expect, on rare occasions we do find that some misuse takes place and this allows us to report any such misuse to the owners in a timely fashion.
Destination Cyprus generates its own holiday rental enquiries through its various websites and marketing activities, when bookings are placed with the owner in his villa then we take a commission based upon a percentage of the rental agreed (Details below).

Priority of bookings is always given to owners that have taken a Property Management Contract with Destination Cyprus, this allows us to ensure that our guests will receive an excellent villa and service.
Destination Cyprus would encourage owners to seek other bookings directly or through other Holiday Rental Companies, Destination Cyprus levies no extra charges on these bookings other than those detailed in the rental contract
